Last week's episode of the hit animated series The Simpsons brought to fruition a dream for Stargate SG-1 star Richard Dean Anderson and his career -- and also gave Stargate fans a send-up of their own. The Jack O'Neill actor guest starred as himself in the episode, "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bangalore."
When Anderson shows up at Patty and Selma's MacGyver convention, he tells the two uber-fans that the show means nothing to him. He proceeds to appear on stage with Comic Book Guy at a Stargate convention, only to be kidnapped by Patty and Selma and taken to their MacGyver shrine.

Stargate obviously meant nothing to Anderson either since he looked like he was sleepwalking in the last season he appeared in. Kudos to Amanda Tapping for actually caring about the fans and the show!
