I wanted to know how to post a videoclip on freerepublic pages. I know how to do pictures, but is there a formula for video URLs?
Thanks!

I'd upload it to youtube.com and post the hyperlink here. They have a nice interface for linking videos.

You have to have the file on your own server.
You can't upload files to freerepublic.

You can link to something by using
{a href="http://www.xxx"}NAME YOU WANT TO CALL IT{/a}
then when they click on it, they will go to the page

You just need to post a link to the URL where you have put the video.
With jimrobs magic html, you can just post the text of the link in a message.
It's possible, in principle, to embed player, like Windows Media Player, but it is likely that such things are filtered here, because video players are so resource intensive.
You really wouldn't want 15 videos to start playing simultaneously when you pull up "My Comments"
