All of the Tony Snow hubbub has me thinking about it. ;o)
He'll be GREAT!!!
BTW, what's his moniker on FR?
Exactly.
It WAS Tony Snow.
Evidently his postings have been purged.
Interesting. Do we get Travis McGee back then?
I don't think we need to worry about that angle...this will seriously plump up his wallet in the out years!
We know him well but the whole country does not. I think he is the dream candiate and will dazzle the MSM. Plus, the WH insider knowledge that he will gain from this (second) tour will make him an acknowledged instant expert commentator. With this prestigous exposure added to his already excellent resumé and skills, Tony will do just fine when W. is back in Crawford clearing brush full time.
(He''ll probably start off lecturing three or four times a week for $25K a pop.)
Oh no!! I was recomending Pissant for the job not accusing him of being A+Bert!
It's the best compliment A+Bert ever got.
It would not be a good idea for Bush's press secretary to have a freeper account, anymore than a Clinton press secretary should have a DU account.
There's too much risk of guilt by association with people who are not screened before joining the club.
Yeah, I thought about that later, and you're quite correct.
See my #60, please.
The Scott Peterson threads alone bring a new perspective to "this will be on your permanent record." Face it, neither you or I could run for dogcatcher. :)
Heh. I've been knowing that a long time.
That's why I prefer to work behind the scenes locally. ;^)
Sheesh, didn't you get the memo about adhering to the "magic bullet" theory of restoring conservatism, wherein if you don't get your way 100% you go home and sulk, angrily imagining the perfect 3rd party as a means of wreaking your wrath on those who haven't appreciated the brilliance of your ideas?
Oh, you nailed it there.
Please don't get me started on those people, though.
They're unrealistic idealogues, no better than the average DUer.
Tony reguarly lurks and posts around here. The live thread during his show was often quoted and picked up on or mentioned during the radio program.
I personally talked to him (including a 'spelling smack down' on the air of me) several times on FR and via mail stemming from his show, the live thread, and FR.
"Tony Snow" nick has now been retired... at least for 2yrs ;)
