No kidding. Those were all the rage when I was in college and the noise generated by a bunch of girls walking down the linoleum halls of my dorm was incredible. Sounded like the Budweiser Clydesdales.

I like my Dr. Scholls....they are pink suede with rhinestones.
I don't go hiking in them, but to work or out to dinner...no problem. I used to love wearing high heels, but after surgery for bone spurs....those days are over. I even have to wear orthodic inserts in my cross trainers.

You are so right. Those were horrible! I can't even wear the flip flops. I hate the thing in the middle. All my shoes/sandals do not leave a mark...if they do...they are in the garbage.

Best Antidote to Dr. Scholls Monstrosities = Merrill sandals.

I've had reconstructive foot surgery four times and have fallen in love with Merrill shoes. They keep me walking!
