You`re sure right about seeing T/F under the lights, unreal. We just now got home from going to
the Atlanta race (spent about 2 hrs on Look Out Mtn)
Brandon Bernstein`s loseing a rear wheel Fri. nite doing
about 319 mph.scary,unbelievable sparks,he walked
away,whew.
The way I heard it Force came up to the NHRA boss
before that 329.58 mph and told him he was gonna set
a track record. He replied to Force oh,really? Force replied
yeah Austin Coil said I was going to and I ain`t gonna
argue with him.
Thanks for the report on Force...I hadn't heard that before. One thing about Force, he understands that you have to please the fans. Virtually everything he does is to give a show.
Drag racing is quite a spectacular sport. When you see it in its normal environment and performance, nothing comes close. But when something out-of-the-normal happens there's nothing, short of combat action and a major rocket launch, that comes close to the spectacle of drag racing.
To put things in perspective, Patton said that "Compared to war, all other forms of human endeavor shrink into insignificance."
