They didn't. It was prior to spring practice.
Mack Brown said semester, not practice.
Either way, perhaps you are right, perhaps Brown did bump him from practice or the team (depending on view point) to "see how he'd behave without practicing."
That would lead me to believe that Taylor had some kind of personal issues that were going on long before this party/fight thing.

there is a reason they call it dope. What's that reason? Does it apply any less to the legal drug alcohol?

I get the Aggie part.
Why Texas Aggies when there are Texas Longhorns?

Why Seminoles when there are Gators?
One thing I have always liked about UT is the high academic standards when compared to other Major NCAA football programs.

Looks like they are
playing the race card. I expect Johnny Cochrane and Jesse Jackson to fly in any day now.

The difference is that there are the Florida Gators and the Florida STATE Seminoles.
Are A&M fans afraid of their own school's name?
Texas Aggies?!?

Ah, I see. I've always called them either A&M or the Aggies, never the Texas Aggies. I don't think that I've ever even heard that before. I;ll refer to my Texas Cultural Adviser, but it's as wrong as Anne Richards in leather pants.

Heck, if they got Johnny Cochran there even *I* would have to vote for an aquittal!!
To: somniferum
I meant to say Al Sharpton since Johnny is dead, but I was thinking about what a friend had said earlier - "If the backpack don't fit, you must acquit" - you can picture him saying that, can't you?
