How about $12,900?
You don't really think that $2000 for "miscellaneous" and $900 for "rent" are legitimate? I'd bet that it's all rolled over into compensation for the joker who "administers" the sewer, err, website.

(The Shah doesn't look so bad now, eh? But nooo, Jimmah said the Ayatollah was a 'godly' man.)

10K a month ain't bad if it's one or even two full time staff members.
I know lots of folks who'd be happy to be pulling down 60K a year for running a low ranked discussion board.

The funny part is no one would give a rat's a** what they make if they actually were a proponent of the capitalist system instead of always trashing it. This reminds me of that boot company (red star?) that advertises and markets it's products as for the anti-capitalist/anarchist types, selling their boots for more than Air-Jordans.. all it is, is 'evil big business' marketing to the 'anti-business' customer base..

"Communist Chic" is big business these days. Lots of college kiddies, Trustafarians, hippies, aging hippies, and honest-to-gawd real communists ready, willing and able to shell out their "fair share" (OK, "fair share" plus a little bit--it's for a good cause...their egos) to be "socially relevant".

Anti-Establishment is the current pop culture trend.. of course, the way trends go, the next will be Country-Club Chic and the Anti-Establishment will be out of style.. it is all cycles and has little reflection of the real mood of the country (with the exception that a sizable population of the country is pop culture obsessed...)

Generating any revenue at all from the consumer-nonproducers that the site attracts is surprising.

Personally, I don't know how much JimRob makes from FR, but I hope its a ton of money, God bless him.
