The article is a little confusing. I don't think the gator pictured was an attacker, he is a nusiance gator that was bothering residents or showed aggression. State trappers will remove the animals if they are endangering people.

I canoed that run last year. Didn't see any gators that day, much less a monster like the one they caught. Just damn.
