I think Skilling is toast on an appeal, but lay may have a decent chance of a reversal since he came back into the company after the damage was already done.
The entire case is very complex but it seems that Fastow was the mastermind, not Skilling or Lay. It doesn't make sense that their sentences would be longer than Fastow's.
