Ever since I moved up North, people have been calling me and my friends, "you guys" or "yous guys", instead of the gender neutral, ya'll. Should I be offended?

I'm from Philly area. Everyone is known as "youse guys" or "youse gals", but, if intermixed, "youse guys" is all inclusive.
Instead of 'yo', here in the South the natives say 'hey'. I'm not offended. LOL

Did you hear the one about the guy from Joisy who was visiting Georgia? He told a native "I'm getting tired of heahing 'ya'll' this and 'ya'll' that. Why can't youse guys loin to speak the propah English?

No you cant be offended since you're up North where some speak like that. Hearing it down here, yeah that gets on my last nerve. Then again, go ahead and be offended if you want. That seems to be the "in" thing nowadays. -:)
