LOL! Ghosts! Right!
There's a tombstone here in Kentucky if you go up to it and ask "what are you doing"? It'll say nothing.
To: CurlyBill
Guess it's too much trouble for them to show you a normal color version so you can see what the room looks like, maybe reflective surfaces. Probably just a digital insert.

If there's something weird in your neighborhood
Who you gonna call?
CALL ME!
If there's something strange and it don't look good
Who you gonna call?
CALL!
If you're seeing things running through your head
Who can you call?
GHOSTBUSTERS!
An invisible man sleeping in your bed
Who you gonna call?
GHOSTBUSTERS!
(Oh yeah)
I ain't afraid of no ghost,

As Carol (representing Valentown museum) explained, there was a public ghost hunt going on at the time, Public, as in, more than one "investigating team?"
Figures that something would be caught on tape...even if it weren't a real apparition.
Yup. What you said.

Thanks for the ping CB. I'll watch it in the morning. Dang! You always post these late at night when I'm sitting here, alone, in a dark room! LOL! Mr. sneakers and I have been invited to join a "ghost-hunting" group. In fact, they got some of their software from TAPS. I'm going to make a terrible, scaredy-cat ghost hunter if I can't even watch a VIDEO of an alleged ghost! :-)

Thanks.
From the commentary on the link it looks like a big fiasco...
And no "ghosts"...

Being an expert in neither the paranormal or infrared, I find it interesting that the IR signatures of the two individuals are completely different.

The floor mounted cross they claim is in the background BEHIND the "ghost" and can be seen through the "ghost" as it walks toward the camera's right is actually in the forground and the ghost walks behind it... no transparency required. This is an artifacting of infrared... the temperature signatures of the cross and the "ghost" are very close, not quite the same, but close.

Just viewed it. Very interesting. Looks like an elderly person. Not likely somebody who you would take along on an investigation of this nature.

All I got was typed code... but I remember seeing the episode on Ghost Hunters. I believe they heard music... or a music-box playing up in the ballroom. One of their 'researchers'... also kicked out the plug on a computer containing the audio... BEFORE it was saved.
