I could care less about the "franchise". No one ever considers the comic books.
That said. Is it a good film?
And does it film the origin story yet AGAIN?
Why is it none of the Bond films showed how James Bond or ANY of the villians got where they were in life?
James Bond was ALWAYS James Bond. Goldfinger, Pussy Galore, Blofield, et al were ALWAYS bad guys.
Too much background SLOOOOOOOOOOOOWS these films down. It's not important. Too much plot getting in the way of the story.
Just looking at the picture they posted shows it's gonna be a boring film. I like how Clint Eastwood does it at the end of Heartbreak Ridge. He sees his woman, she smiles, they walk off together. Doe he kiss her? No! Because Clint doesn't do those pansy roles that Tobey Maguire and the like would do.
