Wife just left the Verizon store. Her phone has officially died. We knew that with our contract we could upgrade on July 10, so she was just going to reprogram one of the old (first model) phones to use until then.
Store guy tells her that since I'm the primary person on the contract that I couldn't upgrade until July 10, but SHE could have upgraded in February 2005. Go figger. I don't know how that works.
But I still have to go into the store. We're gonna upgrade her to a crackberry and blue tooth tomorrow. She needs 'em for work. Then I'll go back in on July 10 and upgrade mine. That'll work 'cause the deal will give us two free phones. We can give one to Nana, one to Jr.
Nana's phone has died and Jr's is severely ill.
So, there's that.
I'm eligible for an upgrade in about six months. Which'll leave me with a really nice phone I don't need.
Fun.
I guess concerning how things have worked out, it won't hurt to have a backup, but...
One of these days I'm going to get me a phone.
For a long time, Steve had a cellphone with unlimited minutes, provided for his job but then he was promoted and the new job didn't come with a phone. Then, my parents put me on their plan but I'm naturally not on that anymore.
