MURFREESBORO A word of advice to whoever stole the Ten Commandments monument from Sharon Bennett's yard: read Number Eight.
Bennett noticed the 3-foot-tall concrete pillar with its admonition not to steal missing Wednesday.
"I feel sorry for whoever did it," Bennett said. "They obviously don't have many values and must be lost."
She installed the pillar three years ago at the bottom of a flag pole for about $200.
During holidays, Bennett, who has a son in the Army Reserves, would decorate the monument and the flagpole with red, white and blue stars.
The Northside Baptist Church member and former missionary in Singapore has no idea who took display or why. She just hopes they return it.
"I forgive them. I just wish they didn't do it."

ACLU strikes again? Since they have used extortion, with the help our our tyrannical judges, to get other to comply to their orders, it is a small step to outright take things.
If they want to nab the perp, just check DU for the "look what I just stole!" thread.
I could totally see them creating a need for themselves, if that's what you're getting at!
