Whaaaat? Who says there must be an "overpowering and domination component" inherent in a man-boy liaison? And why wouldn't that come into play in a situation like this one? As if a teenage boy is calling the shots with his hot blonde teacher!

Do I blame you for feeling that way? As a fellow heterosexual male, no...not at first. But as I say every time one of these bimbonic bombshell teachers humps a boy who does all of his thinking with his smaller head, "I used to fantasize about being with my better looking teachers. Then I grew up."
And for all you guys out there who whine schtuff like "You're being PC!" when we say short-eyed women shouldn't be given a free ride because, you say, the guys can't be scarred like the girls can; I have a challenge for you. Would you be so bold as to codify your endorsement of society's double standard?
Yeah, that's right. Just the way that the likes of John Murtha and Max Cleland spew their hate at so-called "chickenhawk" Republicans but wouldn't ever dare propose that serving in the military should be made a prerequisite to serving in Congress, none of you want to say, "I step forward and say that there should be lesser punishment for female pedophiles because we all know boys wanna get laid."
Agreed. The male teacher and the female teacher both enjoy the same position of power and influence. Yet we know that the male teacher, homosexual or heterosexual, will be treated astoundingly different. Of course that is the norm in society as a whole, not just school. IMHO
My feeling is that you're being intentionally obtuse to make a point. What it boils down to is this: a healthy, heterosexual, 17-year-old male will likely make a rapid and full psychological recovery from having one of his earliest sexual experiences with an attractive, heterosexual, 29-year-old woman.
The woman is a criminal who must be punished with the full weight of the law. She should no longer be allowed to teach and should absolutely spend time behind bars. The good news is that this teenager will very likely be psychologically unharmed due to these events.
