perhaps Corsi and his lemmings will deduce that a Buildaburger had me poisoned. ... Perhaps future generations of Americans (your children and mine) will forgive you for your blind allegiance to commerce at the expense of our rights to national borders and national sovereignty.

Like I said or implied, they may not open the sealed containers and search them (unless a seal is broken) but that doesn't mean that these shipments will be exempt from the normal dogs and/or sensor (radiation) routine. RFID is about paperwork issues.

Let me be clear. I'm not happy about substandard Mexican trucks being on US highways, that was one of Bush's mistakes. I'm not thrilled with current border and port inspection proceedures, more can and should be done. But this inland port issue isn't the creation of a giant security hole that Corsi and Joe Farah so desparately want to believe. We've had inland ports for years, Virginia's in Front Royal is a good example.

Back in the Clinton years I was a big fan of Farah and World Nut Daily. In 2004 I took Corsi at his word. As time passed and I've been able to read their work on subjects that I am actually somewhat or very familiar with, I've come to despise them as shoddy, alarmist, frequently wrong, and the type who can backfire and harm conservatism. All too often they jump to the wrong conclusions and make it clear that they have no idea what they are talking about. So perhaps my rudeness was too much, from patience worn thin, but I can't stand dishonest demagogues, no matter what side of politics they are on.

Anyway, have a good evening.

By letting a toll company build and operate it (but not own, it will still be a Texas road) the state won't have to spend any taxpayer money to double capacity First, you are already incorrect. The "private road" is being funded in part by the new fines on traffic violations. From the Official site:............ "Other funding options include leasing right of way, toll revenues, and state and federal funds."(that means our Taxes)........"it is possible that traditional gas tax funding may be used in some capacity." Hrmmm... raising taxes on citizens so a foreign company and its shareholders can "profit". Sounds like a fleecing agreement to me. ....... Dont forget, Texas has introduced a new "points system" that one ticket not only requires a Texan to pay a fine but an ANNUAL PAYMENT for 3 years..... "Drivers who receive a conviction for any of the following offenses that occur on or after September 1, 2003 are required to pay an annual surcharge for three years from the date of conviction.".......nearly 50% of those funds go to the Texas Mobility Fund...aka... THE TRANS TEXAS CORRIDOR. Look it up. Then perhaps you can give us ONE example of a major toll road that actually operates at a profit?

You wouldn't know the truth if it bit you on the nose and held on for 72 straight hours.

Yes, Lou Dobbs is a moron and so are his drooling, sycophants.

I accept your apologies as well, and hope you have a good evening (morning as well).

Also, regardless of your feelings on WND, I hope you research this issue. Also, ask yourself why county after county in Texas is voting down this project. Here is a pretty good site to get you started, of course dont take their word for it, verify iit for yourself. http://www.corridorwatch.org/ttc/index.htm

Did you know the John Birch Society had the original in-depth report on this ~scary~ road? Yep, back in Oct. '05.

I wonder if Corsi will give them any credit.

Are you a Bircher?

"I am sure the usual RINOs will be along to call this a conspiracy theory.
They seem to follow the same playbook of "liberals":
Deny, Deceive, Disrupt, Distract, Destroy..."

Its not your imagination. They DO follow the same playbook of the liberals and I believe, if backed into a corner, they would admit that they support this NAU/SSP plan and ANYTHING else Bush has decided to do since deciding to join the liberals. Their 'protesting too much' toward us is just a give away that they resent and feel threatened by any criticism of the Presidents agenda. And just like with illegal immigration, they're uncomfortable with being in the minority on this issue.

"I wonder how long the Admins here will continue to put these articles in "conspiracy" section, even when Lou Dobbs acknowledges the truth. When the data is from the government's webstites. When the plans are published! When internal emails confirm the "theory".

The Admin should be ashamed."

I've already asked them why they take the time to move every one of these threads to 'chat', yet ignore the fact that those of us who wish to discuss this issue in a civil manner are subjected to the constant harassment and namecalling of those who don't. I have yet to receive a reply. I have concluded, based on the increase in attacks, not just here, but the sudden trashing of wellknown outsiders, previously respected, that the Admin of this site is not just ignoring the problem posters, they are encouraging them. As they, like the harassers who 'protest too much', are, in fact, in complete agreement with Bush's NAU/SSP agenda and wish to discredit ANY disagreement of ANYTHING Bush does. That is why I have not received a reply.

The problem i that good conservatives have been defending President Bush on good issues from wacko liberals for so long that many seem to have a knee-jerk reaction to ANY criticism of President Bush.

That is NOT healthy for them or for our Republic. Everyone knows that NO politician is perfect and EVERYONE knows that power corrupts. Our founding fathers sure as heck did.

It will take time. I just hope our conservative brothers realize that Patriotism is more important than partisanship.

Hey dumbass, I've about had it up to here with conspiracy morons who see the sun rise in the east, set in the west, and immediately come screaming into here in an abject panic

You seem to be taking this personally. Is there a particular reason?

Are you saying his Swift Boat work was dishonest?

Thank you, but its only because I've become such a target. I have been a member of this forum for only a few years, but, have looked up to and respected the opinions of the same long-term members with whom I now find myself in disagreement with over certain issues. While I would welcome discussion/debate, I have been very disappointed to find that the only discussion/debate they are choosing to engage in is fear-based personal attacks against anyone, and I do mean anyone, who disagrees with Bush on anything, including the issue of illegal immigration, North American Union, securing the border, etc., and in my case, supporting of Tom Tancredo.

I stay and continue to be harassed, called names, and tattled on because I know that 'this too shall pass', as it did when I supported Bush through the Dubai deal. If I'm not banned for disagreeing, when all is said and done, if it ever is, I'll have to reassess what FR becomes and decide then whether or not I wish to continue to participate. In the meantime, I am also learning alot from the American for Legal Immigration website, www.alipac.us.

"[quote]Despite claims to the contrary, a planned Midwest "inland port" with a Mexican customs office will not be restricted to railroad traffic, according to internal documents obtained by WorldNetDaily."

They are not hiding the fact that this involves trucks and I see no evidence that they ever did hide an intention to use trucks.

KC SmartPort Business Plan

Mission Statement: Kansas City SmartPort is a non-profit economic development organization formed to promote and enhance the Kansas City metro area’s status as America’s Inland Port Solution.
