Questioning ones patriotism is a shameless act. Regardless, some Bush supporters do this frequently when confronting Bushs critics who condemn Bushs handling of the war against terror and the war in Iraq.
Instead of painting the left as being anti-American, the Bush people should review some of the statements made by Democrats and debate the real issues.
Speaking of the war against terror, a Democratic lawmaker noted that while fighting Al Qaeda, America suffers without achieving anything of note other than some benefits for their private corporations. A fellow colleague in the Senate noted that because of the wars the economic deficit has reached record astronomical numbers estimated to total more that a trillion dollars.
These comments may appear strong; however, the fact remains that the U.S. had not achieved anything considering that Al Qaedas top brass is still at large, thus leaving the U.S. at risk for another attack. Additionally, if one calculates the direct and indirect costs of the wars, the total costs will amount to a trillion dollars, an astronomic sum.
Three years into the Iraq war, it is time to acknowledge that no one but Bush gained from this war. As one Democrat recently said, It (the war) shows that the Bush administration has gained something that anyone who looks at the size of the contracts acquired by the shady Bush administration-linked mega-corporations, like Halliburton, [will notice]. This statement echoes another statement made by a Bush critic concerning Bushs rush to war. The darkness of black gold (oil) blurred his vision and insight.
My fellow readers, the above quotes are not from Democrats. The quotes are from Osama Bin Laden! Yes, the transcripts were, according to CNN, released by Al Jazeera in November of 04, and Bin Ladens statements reflect the talking points of some extreme-minded, high-ranking Democrats!
Perhaps the Democrats should sue Bin Laden for Plagiarism
