cutting and pasting a pronunciation guide into a thread, for some reason makes the vowel sounds disappear. i am assuming that is what happened with SG this AM, i gave up putting them in my threads on the days i teach, bc i cannot get the vowel sounds to show up! i figure if anyone is that interested that they can go to a dictionary and look it up.

In french it is pronounced on-wee with a nasal 'n' sound.
The signature block says it all.
