Well, at least it's a fairly meaningless injury--it won't affect his athletic abilities, and it's not as if he was giving 100% in the CFL anyway.

What really bothers me is how Sportscenter teased the story; "if you're Nick Saban, you're kicking yourself!" Uh, why?

True. It's not like he tore his ACL.

I never watch Sportscenter anymore. It's annoying, cliched, and so in love with Barry "Big Giant Head" Bonds that it's no longer relevant. If I want scores, I can get them on the net without the bad jokes.

As for Ricky, he has a full year to heal his arm. What's the big deal?

Your comment kind of reminds me of the difference between major and minor surgery. If you're having it, it's minor surgery. If I'm having it, it's major surgery. I understand your point, but running backs tend to have short careers (Walter Payton and Emmitt Smith are exceptions, not the rule), Add to that, Williams has already p!ssed away more career than most running backs even have, and he supposedly owes megabucks of signing bonus back to the Dolphins. The broken forearm may not be a career ending injury, but it's another fender bender in a career that already looks like a series of bumper car rides.

I suspect that Williams will end his career in debt, and hope that he can avoid the fate of "Jefferson Street" Joe Gilliam.
