He read .12 when they tested him, so I think it is unlikely (although not impossible) Gibson was in a blackout. A recovering drunk myself, the terrible things I said and did while drinking are explained, not excused.

I'm just grateful I didn't kill anyone while I was out there. I'm grateful he didn't kill anyone, either.

Maybe Mel could make amends. He could make a movie showing all the great things Jews have done through history and how Israel is set upon by the unrighteous. :^)

My sister's boyfriend was a passenger (for a change) in a vehicle that was pulled over. Both driver and passenger (cuz he is really stupid when he's drunk) were hauled in. Sister's boyfriend blew a .30 and the police were amazed he was still standing. We've all tried to help him but his attitude is "f-off", so I quit trying. I too hope he never kills someone. He's got two dui's that haven't dropped off, and yes, that means that he's had more than that. But he hasn't gone to jail yet, just long enough to sober up. What can I say.....we live in CA.

I had to snicker over that. POINT TWELVE PERCENT????? If he's an alcoholic, chances are .12 wouldn't even make him walk funny or feel dizzy. Just a buzz.

My husband's a friend of Bill too. (he feels this way too)
