Personally, I've never believed her parents had anything to do with her death. I've always thought the Boulder police department botched it from the start.
Perhaps a pedophile was picked up in Bangkok and pictures were found implicating him? With all the publicity of this case the perpetrator would have run long and far. What better place could he find than in a country with child prostitutes?
Probably neither of the parents was the actual killer. But I wouldn't say they had "nothing to do with it". They were having their preschool-aged daughter travel all over the country (and perhaps even overseas) participating in "beauty contests" in which little girls are dressed up in sexy adult clothes and make-up and paraded around in front of anyone who cares to buy a ticket (I recall reading that some of JonBenet's dresses cost well into 5 figures, and seeing photos of some that looked like Las Vegas showgirl outfits). Did they really think these audiences weren't loaded with pedophiles?
I agree. It's just sad that Patsy didn't live to see this day. The media put these parents through living hell and I can't help but believe it put Patsy in an early grave.
