I got the same feeling from the get go.
I think he's a full blown loon, obsessed with the case and looking for his 15 minutes. Fox reported he's been writing a book on the case and 'admitted' to having drugged her and raping her, though they say reports indicate that neither happened.
I am watcing Karr on the tv right now and he seems to enjoy the cameras. He looks like Lee Harvey Oswald.

On second thought, after reading more I have doubts as well. Could be this guy is just building himself an insanity defense for other possible prosecutions?

I`m reading about that now on Drudge....Plus he said he drugged her and there were no drugs found in her body. Somethings not right with this whole case, I don`t know what it is... I mean even if this guy confesses a zillion times, that deal with the ransom note and the fact that there were no signs of forced entry into the house is just really bizarre. Ok, granted they could have left their door wide open for some reason, but it just doesn`t feel right.
Take into account the actions of the Ramseys themselves..They call up saying she is missing without checking the basement first, then "suddenly" they check the basement and find her body, then they don`t cooperate with the police, they hire a publicist instead...A publicist? What are these people, the Clintons? Compare the behaviour of the Ramseys to that of John Walsh of Americas Most Wanted when his son Adam went missing, that dude went absolutely bananas like most parents would and should, hounding the police night and day, even going to the Feds in Washington, getting himself on national TV to ask for help. These Ramseys on the other hand did the exact opposite. Something really stinks here, and I don`t think we`ve heard what the real story is yet. I think this dude they just caught could have very well killed her, but I don`t think he was the only one involved.

The Duke Lacrosse "case" has made your point starkly, dramatically, clear to me.
But, not to worry, everything will come out in the end.
