Unfortunately it's looking that way. This Karr guy had been exchanging emails with a college prof for quite sometime. I bet he instructed Karr to pull this UNFUNNY little stunt to get him out of whatever trouble he might have been in Thai! Something is outta wack here. I hope I'm wrong so that the family can finally get some peace!

something's definitely odd, but the authorities have said this guy possesses info only thew killer would know, then there should at least be a way to track that info from this guy back to the killer, who would have shared such info with him.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

Karr was arrested at his apartment.

He was not in Thai custody until we asked that they pick him up.

Ergo, he was not in "trouble in Thailand" until we made trouble for him.
