Yea, that's the trouble with this case. There is so much disinfo. Supposedly the Boulder police hired several forensic pathologists to look closer at the evidence. They came out with reports that gave more detail about the nature of her wounds. The FBIs Child abduction people also looked at it and said the ransom note was totally bogus and not like "real world" cases.

Crime magazine interviewed a lot of the detectives involved in it and wrote an article. You can read it here:

Basically, their first-hand knowledge of the case, and the more detailed work of the pathologists, wasn't publicized much in the MSM.

There was also evidence that the Hi-Tech boot belonged to Burke - he acknowledged as much when he and a friend were questioned about it. John and Patsy denied it beforehand. Most of what people heard about this case was apparently filtered through the MSM so I'm guessing that's why most people haven't heard this. That's why I mentioned in my very first post that some of this info had not been widely circulated but IS public knowledge.
