If nothing else, this new Fischer sportbike looks really sharp. I'd be curious to learn more about the engine and suspension.

britten did it.

besides these people aren't trying to win motogp they are trying to make a proper america sportsbike.
i really hope they pull this off.
I can get virtually the same bike from them for about $2K less. That being said, it's a good choice. (It ain't crap.)
I'm hoping that later Fisher models will have their own drivetrains.
2 cylinder or 4?
Sounds like a two...I've got three in my Triumph and it goessssss.

I saw the bike at Laguna Seca again this year. Looks like they have upped their production run from 30-50 road-going versions. This Fischer reminds me of Cannondale's attempt at a dirt bike. Had everything but a parts supply. It will be interesting to see if this Fischer can take off.
BTW, Harley did have an almost competitive racebike a few years back. the VR-1000. Now they just use the motor in the VRSC models. If I ride a Harley I want the Superbike version!
I loved seeing this thing screaming around Daytona! - Godspeed John Britten!
The Hyosung has an almost identical engine to the Suzuki SV650, except it doesn't have fuel injection.
My buddy; the Triumph dealer has a Hyosung franchise and he's racing one.
The MotoCzysz factory is just up the road from here, he's a brilliant designer and money is no object.
Godspeed John Britten ~ yes indeed! He died way to soon, whataguy!!
I never saw a Britten running, but I got to get a close up look at the Gugenheim annex at the Venetian Hotel in Vegas, when "The Art of the Motorcycle" was there. A stunningly beautiful piece of machinery. Unfortunately, it was probably his extensive work with carbon fiber that killed him.

What really pissed me off is that HD was never going to sell it to the public. IIRC, it was only offered for sale (as per the AMA requirements for Superbike racing) in Checoslovakia or some other such country! I remember that bike, and saw and heard it at a Las Vegas AMA Superbike Race. I think Scott Russell was riding it, but don't remember for sure. It had an awesome sound, WAY different than the only other twins in AMA Superbike that day: The Ducatis. IIRC, that was the last year that Doug Chandler won the #1 plate, before Mat Mladin moved from FBF Ducati to the Yosh Factory Suzuki team.

2 part answer: I never in person saw the Britten, only on video.
You are right one the money with HD. They 'sold' it in Poland. WTF, lol. I have a picture of it when Chris Carr was riding for them. My company supplied them with cables, and I got to fit it to that bike at Sears Point (I mean Infineon).
