Unfortunately, I'm afraid we've become far too politically correct to do this. Our governing elites are so eaten up with guilt that they would probably believe we had it coming to us. Even Israel is afraid to beat the muzzies nowadays.
It's absolutely astounding how World War II, which was largely won by the ultimate sacrifice of thousands and thousands of Americans, is now used to shame the West in general and American in particular. It's as if Hitler (mach shemo!) were the apotheosis of "the West" and justifies the destruction even of those Western nations who helped defeat him. Only the actions of the Communists is given credit. Meanwhile, our war with Japan is treated as if we were the fascist villains and the totalitarian fascist Japanese regime is regarded as just another group of "indigenous" victims.
As I have pointed out before, the Western Left is unique in its self-hatred. The Third World Left is militantly proud, nationalistic, and militaristic (do you think the North Korean government tries to get its people to feel guilty about anything?). The Left has basically abandoned Marxism for National Socialism for people of color and "indigenous" peoples. Can you imagine what the Western Left would say about any Western movement that was actually similar to the militant, proud, nationalistic Third World Left?
