Anybody else notice that sacredcowburgers.com was gone?

I had observed that the posts were becoming less and less frequent, but it looks like somebody else done nabbed the domain.

There was an announcement about it a while back.

no, it's up for grabs. No one has nabbed it yet (which is suprising).

It says:

"This domain name expired on 08/30/2006 and is pending renewal or deletion."

I sure hope this isn't the end of this great site. The proprietor has often posted his pictures here at FR. It would be a terrible loss if he doesn't renew.

He and his wife are expecting a child. There's a thread here somewhere about it.

Yep. Jay is packing up and moving to Arizona. His health is improving and he's going to be a Dad.

Thanks, I missed the announcement and didn't locate on a freeper search.

I suppose with John F. Kerry making all these recent pronouncements he may be sucking up all the humor oxygen on the www.

Thanks, I missed that thread.

I can understand wanting to have more time for his family. But I wish the old pictures at least could be stored somewhere on a server. It would be great if something like that could be arranged, so people can continue to visit and make use of them.

There were some real classics. I visited the thread, and where someone posted a picture there's now a blank space.

Can anything be done about it? Maybe store them somewhere else if a willing website can be found?
