Hank Levine, one of the US Government's top China experts, served most recently as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Asia, where he was responsible for market access and compliance issues affecting U.S. companies operating in Asia.
A career Foreign Service Officer and fluent Chinese speaker, Hank served in numerous positions in the region and in Washington, including as Consul General in Shanghai, the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, and on economic issues within the State Department's Office of Chinese Affairs and at USTR. Hank is a graduate of Bucknell University, and studied at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and the U.S. National War College.
