Don't know how old you are now, but I'm sure you probably don't want the same hairstyle you had back then. LOL

My hair was longer than it is now, but not done in a dated "style" - no Farrah, no secretary hair, no Jane Fonda-in-Klute, nothing like that.

Hey now, I liked farrah hair.

I'm taking a much needed hiatus from here too--long over-due.
Ping me when you post that thread :)
BTW, your Seahawks are looking great this year. If they keep playing the way they did last Sunday against the Giants, they'll win the S.B. for sure. It's a wonderful feeling to see your team win The Big Game.
I had an extreme WI winter cold at the time the Pack won the last Super Bowl and cheered so loud I lost my voice for two days after they won. Well worth it though.
TTYL kid ;)

I think Nirvana had a huge impact on what MTV and record companies started to push, but the music was already out there. The other major grunge groups, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and Alice in Chains were already formed. Even Stone Temple Pilots had already formed by the time Nevermind came out. Per what the list says it is listing I don't think Nevermind had that great of an effect on actual music. Although Kurt Cobain's suicide did pretty much end Grunge.
Run DMC and the Beastie Boys is so much better than the rap of today. They may not be as skilled at delivery, but the image they had of wanting to party and have a good time is so much better than what rappers today are putting out.

Will do. Next we talk, the NFL powerhouses will be evident. It's too early to get a good read on it still.
Enjoy your break. I will mine.
Adios for now.

I'm 22, I actually didn't like grunge when it came out. I still don't care for much of Nirvana's music outside of their unplugged CD. To me Soundgarden was the best of those groups, but they already tend to hard rock which is my favorite rather than the punk music that Nirvana was closer to.
Grunge was so short lived that it will be hard to tell how people will remember it. But who knows, it a few years we will probably see a bunch of bands that were influenced by grunge come out. Look at all the new-new wave bands that are out now.

Hi, Motley:
A very lame, very British list!
Lots of people say Elvis is/was "The King Of Rock& Roll. Buddy Holly broke that ground ealrier and set the stage for the the initial and later waves of the British Invasion.
Kraftwerk??????!.... Someone's outta their rat's a** itty bitty mind!
"Dark Side Of The Moon"?.... Absolutely dead on!
Dylan set the groundword for Jimi Hendrix, Simon & Garfunkle, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and countless others. Still prefer his "Blood On The Tracks"!
Dave Brubeck's "Take Five"... The genius of simplicity. Enough said!
"Woodstock" should be on the list. Just for Hendrix's early morning solo "Star Spangled Banner"!
Jack.

So cheesy!
That's about as big as my 80s hair got. My girlfriends had the real 80s Aqua Net hair.

This is my best picture. My lack of front teef is awesome! LOL.
My mom cut my bangs; they're crooked.

Oh, yeah; I remember that one. I hated Winger though, he was too faggy.
