SD - SF game is already tied, wow.
Not a good weekend for Buffalo...first snow, then the Bills lose to the friggin' Lions.
I went for TEN in that game, thinking Young might be getting more comfortable, but I did expect a close game. I just thought Portis would rush more than he did (2TD but only 50+ yds).
The Saints aren't going away.
That was one they had to have. Their schedule isn't going to get any easier.
Hopefully my Pats will continue their misery next Sunday.
The Ravens can't afford to lose McNair.
Bengals are not that impressive right now. They had that game and lost it in the last minute.
Pittsburgh scores TD...looking good right now, 14-0
They would have been better off just throwing the ball into the end zone.
Baltimore and Cincy aren't running away with that division so the Steelers are very much still in it.
Baltimore and Cincy losses help the Browns and make them look less incompetent LOL.
ack, now Pitt is driving for a TD. KC better hold em, cause they are not coming back from 21-0.
Steelers look like they will win today - up 21-0,so that will tighten up that division.
Baltimore needs to get the offense going, if McNair is out that will hurt.
Things can change very quickly in this league.
Here's your rational explanation:
Before writing them off as a team of destiny or the latest Diebold election fraud, the Saints weren't nearly as bad as their record last year. Put any team on the road for all 16 games and see how they would fare before knocking the one team that's actually had to go through it.
You've also got to add in the key additions and subtractions they made during the offseason.
Key additions: Sean Peyton, and Drew Brees(Reggie Bush is proving useful as well), and Deuce McCallister is healthy.
Key subtractions: Jim Haslett, he totally lost control and respect from the team, and Aaron Brooks. Ask any Raider fan what they think about that supposedly impossible to answer Brooks to Randy Moss combo now...
Miami is really letting me down this season. Enjoy your division.
Their defense deserves much better.
They've deserved better for years now. They were supposed to get that better offense this season, but... well, the line sucks.
At least we're holding the Jets to a field goal.
