Must be the season. Just a month to the anniversary of the granddaddy of conspiracy theories.
Well, as I said in the opening, it's that time of year. I hope that we collectively can embarras the major networks to actually get this detail right. You'll notice I put a link to one of the later documentaries which said two of the five shots from the Dallas Police recording analysis were misses.
That of course isn't true.
If you look at the history of the Dallas Police Recording, you'll find experts on both sides of the equation, a group that says the noises were NOT shots, and a group that says they were. BUT looking at the FACT that you can see Connally shot just like he described, other witnesses said they HEARD bang-bang, it should be pretty obvious that the Dallas Police Recording actually recorded the shots.
It's not necessary for the Recording to have captured the shooting, but it is pretty convincing to ANY REASONABLE person that 0.7 seconds apart both the Zapruder film and the police recording say the same thing.
On a side note, the recording only has the 5 noises at about the right time, and Dr. Thomas calculated the odds being 100,000 to one against RANDOM NOISE on the tape looking like gunfire.
Just so we have an understanding of the situation--I was nowhere near Dallas that day.
