How do I get "Latest posts" displayed rather than "Latest Threads"?

I don't know what changed the format on me but now, instead of seeing "Latest Posts", I'm getting "Latest Threads". Very annoying. It seems like I had this problem a few years back but I don't remember how I "fixed" it.

Go to Home page and click on latest posts.
To: streetpreacher
click browse; in the upper right-hand corner it should say "messages" or "threads" ... click the one you want.

Look around Forum. There is a choice, probably in the upper right of the screen.

Obligatory tried and true "Are You Logged On?" Comment.
Ceaselessly amusing to old and new FReepers alike.

Now that you got your problem fixed, please explain your comment...
"instead of seeing "Latest Posts", I'm getting "Latest Threads". Very annoying.
I could never understand why people would rather go see the list of comments instead of the page with all of the new stories.

You're welcome. My wife was a Freeper before me, and for months I couldn't figure out why her screen looked different from mine. She keeps up with the "messages" ... I keep up with the "threads."

These are people who don't care what the news is, they just want to be in on the hot conversations. I think, in general, these are shallow people less interested in understanding the world as they are running their mouths.
My wife is one of these who would rather see the list of comments instead of the page with the new stories.

Old habits die hard I guess, I just hate it the other way.

I like to scan headlines to see if I am even remotely interested in the topic rather than having to look at the first few paragraphs of an article. This way I get a larger overview of articles. I could care less how many hits a particular article has.

Methinks you might want to rephrase this...
