Oh, I really hate to do this.

Rush may be a conservative hero, but he is not imperfect. He admits it himself and moves on. Good advice.

"He is not imperfect."  Therefore he is perfect?

Did you ever watch the show Cheers?  The bartender Woody (played by Woody Harrelson) went into a long talk about how words were slippery, particularly things like "fallible" and "infallible."  He pointed out that the rule for words like that didn't work with words like "flammable" and "inflammable."  I think you're stuck on that sort of confusion, though the consequences for Woody were a bit more immediate.

Rush did not attack Michael J. Fox over his disease.  Anyone who says he did are themselves diseased, though their disease is psychological, not physical.
