In an interview this morning on Good Morning America on ABC, the second-dancer revealed more of the set-up for the Duke rape hoax--

Oct. 30, 2006 — The second dancer in the Duke rape case has said for the first time that the accuser told her to "go ahead, put marks on me'' after the alleged attack.

Dancer Kim Roberts made the new allegation — which she has not shared with authorities — in an interview with Chris Cuomo that will air today on "Good Morning America."

Roberts' allegation comes in the wake of Durham District Attorney Mike Nifong's admission in court last week that he has not yet interviewed the accuser "about the facts of that night."

The only thing missing here is Reverend Al Sharpton making news conferences complaining about the white-boy coverup.

For this alone he should be removed from office.

Heck, all the polls show he's going to win reelection hands down.

They just had another candlelight march to the alleged scene of the 'crime' last week.

For some ( most women in Durham) the boys are guilty, regardless of the evidence.
I hope they sue Nifong and Durham into bankruptcy. Because their lives are ruined.

She is talking to the press. She is not under oath. What obstruction of justice?

Oh, I don't know .... like, maybe, being a prime witness who happens to be failing to report this highly relevant stuff to the police?

She can always claim Nifong didn't ask for her account, since it appears that he has been highly negligent in interviewing people like the accuser.

It's only highly relevant now that we have most of the picture. At the time it was just another incoherent ramble to Kim. It had no significance other than being weird.

Not really. I don't mean to imply that Kimmy is a paragon of virtue, but she had a "situation" or two that needed addressing. She's certainly made the effort of spinning things to her own advantage. But the last people you should be spilling your guts to is this bunch.

If the DA/police had this information, it could have had a tremendous impact on the case.

Don't count on it.

I am curious as to the context of her asking to have marks put on her. was she planning a scam? Did she say "i'm gonna cry rape. here! give me some marks to support my case"? dir she simply say "Make marks on me"? If the latter I'd recommend therapy.

Those comments could be taken a lot of ways. I think it's more likely she wanted to avoid a beatdown for not having the money. Or she could have just been so whacked out that she didn't even know what she was saying. I don't think the rape idea came to her until she was trying to get out of being committed. That probably came more from the power of suggestion at the hospital.

Oh get a clue. Police would ignore this just like they ignored her official police statement that contradicts the accuser's story. Please enough of the nonsense.

Exactly. DA police had a lot of information that contradicted accuser's story. That information was ignored, including Kim's statement to the police. It's silly to think if they knew about Precious asking Kim to put marks on her it would have made any difference.

With a few bruises, she can go to the doctor, or several, and get flexeril or percocet, etc...
