FREEPER DENIED RIGHT TO VOTE (TX)

Posted on 11/07/2006 6:19:26 PM PST by FNG

I just stood in line an hour to vote here in TX, and I was denied a vote because I was not registered. I put in for registration when I changed my TDL address, but it was never processed. The official at the polls told me it happened to a bunch of people. I live in Gregg county, and the DPS office is in Longview. I'm planning on calling the state number and complaining. If I were not a Caucasian Republican, I'd have an army down here tomorrow and make the news. This SUCKS. FNG out.

In many states if your still registered at your last address you can cast a contingency ballot for statewide elections.

Have you tried to vote at your old address? If the reg didn't change you might still be regged there!

Too late. I was one of last people in line. It's 8:30 here now.

LOL

No. You shouldn't do that. There's too much liability from injuries to waiting voters as he was shoved to the front of the line.

You should have just bucked up and said, "I'm gonna vote, what are you gonna do, shoot me"?
We are getting our arses kicked, playing nice, will we ever learn better?
Don't come crying to me, if you didn't get to vote it is only because you don't have the balls to stand and fight!

I just spoke to the State office and filed a complaint. They said I should have been offered a provisional ballot and the polling official made a mistake. I was told to ask for the provisional ballot if this ever happens again. That still does not help me tonight. Who's the "Jesse Jackson" for us poor disenfranchised white folks?

I'm not sure if pulling my 4506 on a polling offical would help "us". If had had walked up there with my SA-M5 strapped on, locked and loaded with all five 30 round mags topped off with SS109, would that prove I had the balls to fight? Maybe it would prove I had the balls, but lacked the brains to vote like a responsible citizen! I am prepared to kill and die for freedom, just like my Doughboy grandfather and my Korean war vet father. I just do not believe the polling place is where to start killing folks.

Didn't suggest that for a moment, did I? Had you been a democrat, and got scrood over that way, you would have been squalling away all over the place, wouldya not? What may be holding you back is thoughts like, "ohmigoodness, what will the neighbors think, if I pitch a hissy fit, and get my arse arrested"! Thing is, you may care more about what your neighbors think, than about the future you are leaving for your kids!
I never said diddly about killing anyone, it is all about just being willing to die, before backing down!

My mistakes were only waiting until the last minute to vote, and not having the knowledge of the provisional ballots. I called the state to file a complaint. The old lady that screwed up and did not offer me a provisional ballot was not much a of threat to my life. The state official I spoke with said I could call the DPS office to complain, but I'm not going up there to raise hell with all of the DPS Troopers around. I've thought about calling the local news, but the media would not be interested in a disenfranchised white republican voter.

Negative attitude, bunch of excuses, you should have bucked up, hollered, raised hell, and held your breath, until you puked! Thing still is, you were scared of getting your arse arrested, and having your name show up in tomorrows police report.

Maybe that would have accomplished something if I were a negro. Folks can literally leave their houses unlocked around here because the local cops do not put up with crap. I feel that discretion is the better part of valor. If I could play a race card, I would have had a lot more options.

Just between women and minorities you're looking at more than 59% of the population. Throw in the white males who are liberals and/or homosexuals and that number gets pretty high.

I worked as an election clerk at a precinct in south Texas yesterday. There were several people at that precinct who had the same problem you did. I posted a "vanity" thread about that today. Fortunately my thread is in the News/Activism forum rather than General/Chat. I have posted the contents of your tread post to my thread with a link back to this thread.

Thanks. It looks like this "Motor Voter" problem is not going to make much news. I guess I will make sure next time.
