Ft. Lauderdale: An absentee ballot was mailed with what may have been a rare stamp worth as much as $200,000 -- the famous Inverted Jenny -- but the envelope is in a box that by law can't be opened.
Broward County Commissioner John Rodstrom discovered the stamp while reviewing absentee ballots. There was no name on the envelope, so the vote didn't count.

D'OH!
My guess is that this particular Jenny would collect a premium because of the circumstances of its discovery.
More than likely it will end up in a local museum and never end up on the market. Unless of course the local government is need of cash.
What do you bet that a whole host of fraudulent claims by people trying to cash in on this stamp.
I asked my kid to stamp my ballot in mail it. The kid mistakenly got in to my stamp collection and put my $200K Jenny on there. So can I pulleze have it back.
