LOS ANGELES (AP) - O.J. Simpson says the only thing he is guilty of is trying to get out of debt and provide for his children.
The former football star said in interviews with The Associated Press that he deserved criticism for his part in the "If I Did It" book and interview deal. He said any profit from the book would be "blood money," but he needed to pay his bills.
...In interviews with the AP, Simpson denied committing the murders, disputed his publisher's contention that the book amounts to a confession, insisted the title was not his idea, and said the hypothetical sections were written by his ghostwriter.
...[the book] contains a chapter in which he explains how he could have committed the killings. But Simpson said he did not write that section.
Simpson said he told the publishing company he would not allow publication if the book contained graphic descriptions of "cutting or stabbing."

I believe we all suspect he put away plenty before the lawsuit and it remains hidden somewhere.
His crying poor mouth is a bit humorous. he certainly didnt do this to pay off his debt to the Goldmans. The one debt he should pay off.
I doubt his sincerity in this he is a known purveyor of untruths.
He wrote it only if it was written in CrAyOn on CaRdBoArD. He is not a smart man. Just lucky that he didn't get death penalty.

I support the Goldmans in their quest to get what is their due, but I don't see that ever happening.
He smirked at the Goldman family in the courtroom. He left his children to find their mother slaughter outside her home. It doesn't get much lower than that. Thank goodness that didn't happen. He is a sociopath, and worse.
That's the only positive thing to come out of this sorry mess, that Nichole and Ron were found before the children woke up.

If he hadn't killed their mother he wouldn't be worrying about providing for them.
He and Clinton, in different ways, are walking, talking (and talking and talking) indicators of our culture's ill-health.
