Memo to the closet dweller Craig: A large part of the appeal of James Bond is that he's the ultimate ladies man. A homo (or "bi") Bond destroys the character utterly. It's nothing short of incredible that anyone should doubt this.
He's also an anti-gun freak.
Very suggestive scenes, but no nudity that I can recall.

Pierce Brosnan was as bad as this current Nancy boy! He comes over to the U.S. and bashes Bush! He's a pretty boy-fancy pants! Sean wreeked(sp) of tetesterone. Roger Moore didn't do it for me wither. Nope! Just Sean!

In the current remake of Casino Royale (I never saw the original), Bond is severely mutilated in the vicinity of his family jewels by the villain and when he regains consciousness in the hospital it is implied that he is no longer functional. If this was also the case in the original Casino Royale, it puts his apparent womanizing in the sequels in an entire different light.

Wasn't Orlando Bloom in the running too? I like him, but DEFINITELY not as Bond.
The episode with the return of Sara Jane Smith fixed that issue.
The new series also had the doctor REALLY kiss a woman.
Also the Doctor fell in love with THE Madame Pompador.

True. The family that produces the Bond movies are very strict with everything from the music on up.
Personally, I liked the Bond days where, when a woman got out of line he'd just smack her in her face. Not a beating. Just a hard one across the chops. I mainly like it because you can't do that in today's PC world and I loathe political correctness.
Read the books....all of them.
He was not gelded...just tortured....tortured pretty badly, but not castrated.......
