I'm not sure there's anything particularly thoughtful about putting a grieving family through the agony of reading the philosophical musings of an inebriated intellectual 12 year old.

mocked by peers since the letter became public with some speculating it might have been written after one of her many late nights out.

It is purely speculation that she was drunk. In reality, it just may be an attempt for her to send a letter of condolence to a family whose loved one she respected. Perhaps her publicist could get her a computer with Microsoft word on it for Christmas.
