Vanity - Letter to CAIR
Self | December 1, 2006 | SampleMan

I just finished a letter to CAIR concerning the Imams kicked off of the airliner, and believe I have coined a phrase that perfectly describes their and others' actions.

It is, "The passive-agressive terrorism of political correctness."

I think this is a disarming descriptor to counter these clowns. Any feedback, tweaking, etc. would be welcome.

Dear Council for American Islamic Relations,

It's really hard to have relations with muslims, because they all want to kill me.

Sincerely,
HighImpact

I laud your intentions, but talking to these people is kind of like trying to explain to a rabid dog why he shouldn't bite you. Also, run it through SpellCheck.

My intentions with this is not to change CAIR's mind. It is to use the phrase to accurately and succinctly label them for what they are, so that the impressionable will clue in.

The point is to perfectly define them in as few words as possible, without being over the top (in the opinion of the average viewer).

Call them a terrorist and you lose the folks who can't see degradations of terrorism below car bombing. But everyone (especially women) knows exactly what "passive-aggressive" behavior is. Put this identifier on their actions in context, and I think a lot of people will be enlightened to see them for what they are.

The more precise the words, the better.

Insensitivity to non-muslim cultures/concerns/worries/fears

Something like that.
