My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

"I think that reaching-a-dead-end, making a change, then coming back after corrections is rather a normal and healthy process in life, would you say the same?"Absolutely! As long as you don't go too far down the wrong path ...
Pathways
Sometimes there are decisions,
You dont know what to do.
You must accept either this, or that.
When neither is right for you.
The word is antinomy,
A choice between two hells,
A crystal ball in stereo,
Misfortune that it tells.
There is a third discomfort,
The fact that you must choose,
No one else can do it,
And either way you lose.
Of ethical dilemmas,
With this Im not impressed.
While anyone can flip a coin,
No one can pass the test.
I like a third alternative,
How did it come to this?
Along decisions path you trod,
What did you seem to miss?
Somewhere there must have been a time,
One didnt think it through,
And took a devious shortcut,
Which seemed equal to the true.
Having to choose between two bads,
Means goods the other way,
How did we get this far along,
With choices made today?
It wasnt recent choices,
That got us where we are,
Not long ago we skipped a step,
That now seems very far.
Oh, to go back and change the thing,
That brought us to this place,
And let us greet this turning with,
A smile upon our face!
Whenever you are choosing,
The way that you will go,
Look long, and study well,
Those miles you have to go.
The choices that you make today,
Will shape the world to come,
And where you get to will depend,
On where youre coming from.

Very pretty! Thank You.
How does it go today??
To: Soaring Feather
Cruddy looking day again, dark enough to need lights indoors...again. It's been a gloomy fall overall. Gloomy days didn't bother me till we started getting so damn many of them. It seems like it's been dark for 4 months with about five sunny days!
It's making it hard to get going but I have to...to some degree...we'll see.
How about you, kiddo?

Gloomy here too, my back is aching so badly I have all I can do to move around. I did the heating pad treatment over the weekend. Helps for a bit. Ice would be the best, but somehow I cannot face the thought of slapping an ice pack on the small of my back today. ;) Shock treatment is not in the cards.
My brother stopped around for coffee and a remember when session, LOL. It's good to see him, when Winter comes around he does not leave his place that much.
To: Soaring Feather
Too bad about your back acting up. Do you know what aggravated it? I will pray for it, but besides the heating pad, what can you do for it?

Oh I have a med which will make me drowsy, but don't want to take it yet, have to do somethings out of the house.
I think it's the weather change that has kicked up the swelling in the lower back. Then the legs are affected, blah, blah, blah. Everyone has something to deal with.
Bottom line, I can walk. ;)
I call my beautician for an appointment, can't get in until January, she had back surgery and is back working only part time.
In the mean time I do my own hair.
To: Soaring Feather
I just got a haircut.
It's like this.
Like it?
