This is simply another case of an American airhead who is easily fascinated by people with an accent different than her own.

A few days ago I was in a store and saw her picture on one of the check out aisle magazines. At that time I wondered what anyone ever saw in her. As far as looks go, she isn't that attractive. And thats after she's all made up. She has absolutely no figure. Her personality seems kind of pouty and whiny. As an actress, she seems mediocre, at best.
So what is it, that the media feels compelled to ooh and aah over?

What sophisticated conversation could a Hollywood actress possibly have? What a moron. But, I guess those who purchase tickets to her films are sophisticated, at least during the 90 minutes she's on screen. And, Madonna? She's pure trash. Can you just imagine the "sophisticated" dinner conversations between those two? Arrggghh! I'd rather eat nails or drink very heavily.

I imagine sitting down to dinner in Hollywood is just as she describes... very shallow, money-centric, idolatry. Paltrow is Hollywood royalty, as they say. It was all handed to her on silver platter. Her father was an A-list TV writer/producer, her mother a highly regarded stage and screen actress. Struggle, the need to make make money, putting food on the table, these are foreign concepts to her. Her noblesse oblige attitude reminds of the scene in The Aviator, when Howard Hughes dines with Katherine Hepburn's family. Hughes is talking about his projects, and the money involved, and Mrs. Hepburn blanches.
" We don't care about money here.
Well, that's because you have it.
Would you repeat that?
You don't care about money because you've always had it."

"With talk like, this I suspect she's getting ready to run for president as a Democrat."
The hate America DUngheap crowd must be enjoying this, given that they hate America more than shallow Gwyneth.
In sum, I wouldn't give much credence to anyone who would name their child, Apple.

Of course, Madonna recommended to her to have her baby in the States because the health care system in England sucks. Thanks for the link -- that is an AMAZING detail! Yeah, Gwyneth loves the UK but doesn't actually want to live like a Brit if she has the wherewithal to hop on a plane and crash in L.A. until she has her children. If only she could fly from L.A. to London every night while she's expecting so she could have some intelligent conversation at din-din time.

Plus, about not fitting into the bad side of American culture. Does Paltrow fit into the
good side?
For one, Apple was born out of wedlock. While Paltrow could be kind and stuff, that shows a bit of sluttiness.

If nothing else having Madonna on the block would at least guarantee lower property values in the area.

"I like living here because I don't fit into the bad side of American psychology. The British are much more intelligent and civilized than the Americans," the 34-year-old added. This simply speaks tot he stumps she has sitting around her table in America. But then again a stump is the intellectual equal of these supercilious drones.
