Yeah, well, I don't know how sad the story sounds to someone who's been menaced by an unleashed dog standing on his porch growling first thing in the morning.
Caused me to be so late for work, they told me not to bother showing up.
Although in my case, it wasn't a beagle... it was one of them weiner dogs.
You couldn't outsmart a dumb dog?
(Dachshund are not the brightest dogs in the world. IIRC, they're ranked about 50th in the dog intelligence rankings.)
