Apples to Apples was quite popular two years ago. There are many editions, including a kids edition.

Another fun card game is Fluxx. It's a game where the rules are constantly changing. You have to use that to your advantage.

Give a synopsis, not just titles. What's the object of the game? Thanks. < :)

Apples to Apples is a group card game (the bigger the group, the more fun it can be). Each person gets five (or seven? I forget) cards, each with a noun (common or proper, person, place, thing) on it, along with a definition ("Mud: water, dirt. You do the math.") Players take turns be the judge, who turns over the top card from the adjective pile of cards. The other player have to quickly pick the card that best matches the adjective. Some picks are more subjective than others. The judge has total say in the matter and can use whatever criteria he/she wants (best match, silliest answer, etc.). Sometimes you won't have a match, so you'll dump a card.

Winner gets that card, everyone refills, and the next player is the judge. First person to win the required number is the winner. (The more people playing, the lower the goal.)

FLUXX is a card game with only one rule: Every turn you pick up a card and you play a card. That's the only rule. Except that some of the cards you play will change the rules. What's the goal of the game? Well, there is none. Not until someone plays a Goal card telling people how to win. You then have to fulfill the Goal to win.... unless someone changes the Goal card before you can . . .
