A 45-year-old substitute teacher at a Coral Springs elementary school is accused of having sex with a 17-year-old boy on at least four occasions since October, according to police.
Deborah Ann Reeder faces four counts of unlawful sex with a minor, according to Coral Springs police. She was arrested at her home in Coral Springs on Thursday.
When police questioned her, she invoked her right to remain silent.
Police did not identify the 17-year-old victim. The teenager told his mother about the incidents, and she called Reeder, with police listening in on the call.
The victim told police he and Reeder had sex multiple times in several places: her car, her bed, on the floor of her bedroom and in her master bedroom shower, a police report shows.
After hearing Reeder talk about the incidents on the phone with the victim's mother, police decided there was enough cause to charge her with the crime.
The sexual relationship started three weeks before Halloween, according to the report.
Reeder has been teaching at County Hills Elementary since March, according to district spokesman Keith Bromery.
Bromery said Reeder will not be allowed to teach until the legal proceedings have been resolved.

The victim is going to be reminded of this act for many years to come.
If the genders were reversed, it would be a straight "10- gets-you-20" and off to prison. She'll probably get 1 year or less, and then she can move to Alaska and start teaching again ...

And she didn't even need a Halloween mask.

Interesting. I don't know. I do know that she used to meet him at the Harvard Club down the street from Boston University where she was a student. Her father owned the largest ambulance company in the country, AMR or something like that.
