Boobs And Brains Not Mutually Exclusive
The Stiletto ^ | December 27, 2006 | The Stiletto

Posted on 12/28/2006 8:16:07 AM PST by theothercheek

Upon learning that Monica Lewinsky, 33, graduated from the prestigious London School of Economics with master of science degree in social psychology, Washington Post staff writer Libby Copeland was jolted down to the DNA in her bone marrow: “She did not!!”

The notion that “the same bubbly gal who once described the act of flashing her thong at the president as a ‘small, subtle, flirtatious gesture’ has now written a lofty-sounding thesis … ‘In Search of the Impartial Juror: An Exploration of the Third Person Effect and Pre-Trial Publicity’” was, Copeland wrote, “akin to finding a rip in the time-space continuum, or discovering that Kim Jong Il is a natural blond.”

No argument from The Stiletto so far. But calling this a moment that makes you “question your fundamental assumptions about the world” she advances her thesis that the world is full of “dumb-but-smart” people by resorting to a fundamental assumption – read, gender-bashing stereotype - that is as unfair as it is untrue: “stupidity has historically been as much of an asset for women as double D's.”

The Stiletto understands that women who have teeny breasts are comforted by the fanciful notion that curvy women have teeny brains – but she takes umbrage at “boob bashing” nonetheless. On behalf of bosomy-and-brainy women everywhere, The Stiletto has launched a crusade against “boobism” – the last remaining acceptable form of anti-woman bias.

Even though the most brazen boobists are other women, this flat-out stereotype must still be repudiated once and for all.

Q: Why don't men look women in the eyes when talking to them?

A: 'Cause the eyes aren't on their boobs!

'What color are your eyes?' About a C-cup.

Is it still OK to watch a little lower as women are walking away? After all turnabout is always fair play.

At the support level though, the secretarial "eye candy" factor is more prevalent. We do have some awesome secretaries though and I am referring to the quality of their work! Sorry - I'm a guy, and guys really can't help themselves sometimes. We can be thoughtful and incisive one minute and then put a pretty, well-endowed woman in the room and we go dumb as a box of rocks.

It's funny - I've mentioned before that my rather small, male-dominated employer has an informal policy (which they will never admit to) of not hiring attractive young women for administrative support positions for just that reason. I always thought it was excessive and unfair, and that we might be overlooking capable employees. Lord knows, talent is hard enough to find, and I can't say our HR department's choices have been adequate in most cases.

Well, they finally bent the rules a little and hired a fairly pretty young receptionist to replace the long-time previous incumbent, who left for another company.

And now, watching the behavior of some of my (mostly married) male coworkers toward her, I understand exactly why the informal policy was kept in place for so long. ;)

LOL.

I have to let her have the remote, and of course, this makes for some rather interesting replays!

I wasn't complaining, but you know, we both had a great laugh over the remore photo!

I for one, hope you reveal yer boobs as much as possible, and carry yer weapon as much as possible too.

Thanks to contributing to both the wonder of femininity and world peace!

I have a sneaking suspiciaon that Arizonans knew all this would happen when they passed the concealed carry law!

However, I must say that I have never sat on a couch very long with such a beautiful woman.I usually had her out on my motorcycle withing 15 minutes, pressed up against me back! And then they didn't care if I oogled, they wanted me to!
