I was wondering what a toll the whole thing was taking on the family and marveled at his devotion as a stepfather. There is also a younger son, who has probably had no attention whatsoever since this whole thing began. The whole thing is so very, very sad. And it was so avoidable.

that is what I think. I think that their marriage suffered harm due to the situation and I can easily understand how that happend.
