Especially in the Ssouth Pacific zones.

I believe the tablet were pure salt?

We were also given salt tablets when I was in VN, at the start of
the chow line.

Alongside the salt tablets was an experimental (we didn`t know it) malaria
tablet. The Gov later found out their was health risks with that if I
remember correctly
