As many people have commented, global warming is the new religion. As such, it is the only religion that is permissible – if not mandatory – I schools. What would any religion be without it’s own prayer? Christianity has the Lord’s Prayer and Islam has incessant, mindless wailing so why not global warming? To address this imbalance I give you, “The Gores Prayer.”
Our secular Father, who art not in Heaven, Al Gore be thy name. They green kingdom come, If thy will be done, in the US as it is in Europe Give us this day our dose of dread And forgive us are skepticism though we don't forgive those not as skeptical as us. And lead us not into Kyoto but deliver us from drivel Though thee has no kingdom, no power and no glory, for ever and ever.
