I'm a U.S. citizen by birth and proud of it. I'm not a grandmother - that's a biological impossibility since I'm most definitely male.
The issues you point out are important ones, but hardly merit the degree of exposure this disfunctional "familY' has received.
Your points about too many lawyers and not enough justice are well taken. I'll carry it a little further - too many LAWS and NO Justice. Our courts have nothing to do with JUSTICE - unfortunately. But they are only concerned with laws - which all too frequently are totally divorced from justice.
Like I said, I'm more concerened about that Holloway kid and the ba$ta*&d$ who murdered her or worse.

People on this thread have clearly noted that Stern was caught in that tape coaching Anna....and it appeared that Anna had become convinced (in error) that Virgie had accused HER of killing Daniel when that is NOT what Virgie said.
No doubt Stern did everything he could to take the anger Anna displayed towards HIM the day Daniel died and kept Anna drugged up and convinced her Virgie was the "enemy" accusing Anna of killing her son.
Stern is a very very slick manipulator.
But somewhere along the line he has made mistakes and somewhere along the line there will be hell to pay for what he has done.

Why am I thinking that he got rid of Opri because she dropped the ball with filing in the Bahamas? The comment he made about how quickly things were going in the Bahamas as opposed to how things were going in California was quite interesting.

I feel the same way! I could use some groceries. I started to put my coat on to leave the house today, then realized it was snowing. No way do I drive in the fresh stuff. As a result, I ate leftovers.

Yep, exactly. I read it like that too. He's pissed off that so much time was wasted. But then again I wonder if the Bahamian courts would given him relief when Anna was still living.
